The last ten days have been crazy and we've had some big things happen in our lives. Here is a rundown of the last week's events!!
1. My brother decided to move across the continent with his family...rude.
Not going to lie, this was an extremely traumatic event for me. Me and Jared are only a year apart, we pretty much have been two peas in a pod since the day i was born. Except for his two year mission and his one year tour in Iraq, we have always either lived together, or within at least 20 minutes. I guess i always just figured this was the way it would be, but alas, life happens. i was so happy when he was offered a position in Memphis with his cute little family, but so sad that they would no longer live two miles away ;) I guess this all taught me not to take family for granted, especially family that lives close. I am so grateful for him and our relationship and his cute family. i just love them. i would just say to all of you who live close to your family, don't take it for granted..because within two weeks it could CHANGE!! haha....Another reason his move was so traumatic, was that he decided to take his daughter, my first niece on my side of the family, with him.....i don't blame him but look at how cute she is! i got to watch her while they were packing....love this little kid!!
2. WE bought a new car!!!!
As soon as we found out we were pregnant again Craig was on a quest for a new car, telling me my civic was not going to cut it...i was sure it was, but then when i had my niece janae in it with Brooklyn, i realized it might be a LITTLE too snug if we ever all wanted to ride somewhere together! haha..so we bought a new car..a Honda Pilot...love the car, hate the payment that comes with it!!
The day after we bought the new Pilot, we had someone come and buy my little civic. I bought my civic right before Craig and I got married. i was a little emotional to part with my little green machine!! i've driven all over the place in that car!! it was the first car i ever bought myself, i was a little attached. although, it took me about a day to get over it. I loved my civic but keyless entry is pretty awesome ;)
What a big birthday!!! We had a great time with Craig's 30th. Me and Brooklyn made him traditional birthday breakfast that morning and then me and Craig went to a Japanese restaurant called Kyoto that night. When we got home we gave him his presents and cake. B helped me wrap everything AND make the cake, she is obsessed with birthdays...
5. and Last but not least, we started POTTY TRAINING B!!!!!!!!
I have been putting potty training off for a while, because honestly, i was terrified, i had no clue where to even start. But, today was the day...no turning back.... so this morning we went to target and let B pick out some girly princess underoos..she was super stoked about them. Day 1 of potty training didn't go as smoothly as i had hoped but there is progress!!!! All i know is i think i may be going through like 8 pounds of laundry detergent this week!! hahaha...wish me luck..or give me advice of you have any i'd love it!!!!

Yay for potty training! Sorry that Day 1 didn't go as well as you'd hoped. Maybe Day 2 will go better?
You're going to make me cry! Again. Jared had a really rough time too. He still gets a little choked up about moving away from you. And of course, Janae is totally missing her Aunt Leesha! And B, who entertined her so well.
Love your new car!! I can't believe you bought it after we left, but whatev. I see how it is. ;-)
Love you guys!
I'd say you've been busy!! Trying to get it all done before you've got a newborn again, right. B looks so old. I bet she'll get the hang of potty training in no time.
Congrats on all the excitement!
