MEETING SANTA....

We went to a Christmas party at our neighbor's house the other week. I knew Santa was going to be there and didn't think Brooklyn was going to do very well. The whole day I said 'who are we going to see tonight?" and she would yell SANTA! all happy like. Well, as you can see, when Santa first walked in..she was not too excited to see him, which i expected, but i was excited...she ACTUALLY sat on his lap with NO TEARS!! I about fell over....my child is NOT social with strangers, but i guess it is santa so he isn't a stranger right?!?

Santa was the GREATEST!! He held out her present, let her get comfortable, gave her the present and then asked her for a hug, she gave him a hug, and sat on his lap!! It was a christmas miracle! haha!!

WINDER DAIRY

Craig's favorite Christmas tradition ever since he was a kid has been going out to Winder Dairy to get scones and egg nog. We went last week and Brooklyn had such a great time and LOVED the scones!

Dad's favorite tradition is quickly becoming Brooklyn's favorite tradition!

The reason we make the trip out there, scones and egg nog..SO GOOD!

B's FIRST SNOW!

Well, it FINALLY snowed here in Utah! Last year B was too small to go out and play in the snow, so this was technically her first time playing outside in the snow! It wasn't much snow and it was FREEZING outside, but she came out to help me shovel the walks and had a grand 'ol time..

Check out her SWEET pink snow pants..they are HUGE, i kind of feel like she walks like the poor little kid in 'The Christmas Story'..but oh well! She is warm!

Good thing she enjoys shoveling, it isn't mom's favorite chore..

B and Dakota playing together, it didn't take B long to realize Dakota doesn't like the shovel! ha!

She kept giving Dakota snowballs and then decided to try and eat one of her own...don't think she is a huge fan!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a such a FUN Halloween this year! Brooklyn totally embraced being in teh costume, she left it on the whole night and she loved trick or treating. We didn't go very far, but she kept saying 'tweet' and did great. The best part is that she totally forgot by the end of hte night that she had a bag FULL of candy, i will enjoy that because i know it won't be the case next year. This year she was a dog! Dogs are brooklyn's favorite thing in the world so we thought it would be appropriate...and warm! haha.... Here are a few pics from the night...

A LITTLE OCTOBER FUN

We took B to her first Utah Game of the season. She was a TOTAL champ because it rained and was freezing and loud and she clapped and cheered and even took a nap. Love this little girl..

OUR TEXAS TRIP

We just got back from a GREAT TRIP to Texas!!!!!! We went down to visit the family and to see my youngest brother Cory come home from a two year church mission in the Dominican Republic. He came back a tan, spanish speaking fool :) We had a GREAT trip and were so glad to be able to spend time with my awesome family. Love you guys! Here are some highlights from our trip!

This is so random but i think it is hilarious...Brooklyn's FAVORITE thing to do lately is to try on all my shoes and walk around in them! Surprisingly, she does pretty well in heels! I believe i have a total GIRLY GIRL on my hands...but i love her! She is obsessed lately with SHOES (just like her grandma Peterson), lotion and LIP GLOSS!
